Cardi B will no longer perform at BZR WKND Jamaica on October 18. Her representatives confirmed the news to Billboard on Thursday, ending weeks of buildup around what was meant to be her first stadium show in the Caribbean.

The statement was short and direct: “Cardi B will not be performing at BZR WKND Jamaica on October 18, 2026. Cardi appreciates the love and support from her fans in Jamaica and hopes to see them in the future.” It directed all questions about tickets and the event’s status to the organizers and said any future performance news would come only through her official channels.

No reason was given for the withdrawal. Organizers had not commented by the time the news broke.

The festival, running October 16–19, was built around Cardi’s headlining set at Kingston’s National Stadium. The bill also featured Keyshia Cole, with Spice set to host and local acts including Ding Dong, Malie Donn, Stalk Ashley, and Shaneil Muir on the card. The event was being promoted as a major mix of hip-hop, R&B, and dancehall.

Fans who bought tickets specifically for Cardi’s appearance are now left waiting for clarity from the organizers. For now, the only confirmed word is that she will not be on stage that night.
