Fitness influencer Raj, known online as @fitwithraj1, is recovering after a serious car crash that left him needing surgery costing GH¢22,000.
He shared his story on social media, explaining how close he came to losing his life and asking for help through MTN MoMo. Ghanaians responded quickly. People shared his posts, sent money, and offered words of encouragement.
The biggest relief came when Black Sherif stepped in and offered to cover the full medical bills. Raj later posted a message thanking the artist, saying the support meant a lot during a difficult time. He also thanked everyone who contributed, prayed, or simply showed kindness.
Adjoa Tee also joined in supporting the recovery efforts, adding to the help Raj received from the public and well-wishers.
This isn’t the first time Black Sherif has stepped up for medical costs. Earlier this year he settled bills for mothers at 37 Military Hospital, clearing more than GH¢50,000 through his foundation.
Raj’s story shows how fast things can move when people come together online. What started as a personal emergency turned into a wave of support that took the pressure off his hospital bills and gave him space to focus on healing.
