Sarkodie just gave the timeline exactly what it needed. The rap legend hopped on X to announce his brand new single, “De Ja Vu,” featuring none other than KiDi. And yes, it’s the first official taste of his upcoming EP, also titled #DeJaVu.
The visualizer is already live on YouTube. You can see Sark in a moody, red-lit room, rocking a striped shirt and shades, doing his signature hand motions. Fans are clearly starving for new music.
Pairing Sark with KiDi is honestly a cheat code. You’ve got the razor-sharp bars meeting one of the smoothest, most melodic voices in Afrobeats right now. If the visualizer is any indication of what’s to come, this EP is about to be a problem.
If you haven’t checked out the clip yet, go do that. And set an alarm for midnight, because this track is about to be on repeat all weekend.
