Victony Links Up With Don Toliver and Summer Walker for ‘Slick’ Remix Video
Nigerian star Victony just dropped the official music video for the remix of his hit “Slick,” and it features Don Toliver and Summer Walker. The track landed on October 16, 2026, giving the original song from his album STARLIFE a fresh global push.
The original “Slick” already made serious noise. It peaked at No. 2 on Billboard’s U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart, topped the charts in Nigeria, and became one of Victony’s biggest solo records. Adding Don Toliver (who previously jumped on the “Soweto” remix) and Summer Walker makes perfect sense. Their styles blend right into the smooth, flirtatious Afrobeats-R&B mix.
The video itself is cinematic and stylish, matching the song’s vibe. Early reactions have been strong, with a lot of love for the visuals and especially Summer Walker’s verse. She brings that signature R&B edge that fans have been asking for ever since she posted her own version of the song months ago.
Victony posted the announcement simply: “Out now!” tagging both collaborators. The remix is already streaming widely on YouTube and major platforms.
This feels like another smart move from Victony. He’s been steadily building a sound that travels well outside Nigeria, and pairing up with two big names from the U.S. R&B and hip-hop scenes is a clear way to keep the momentum going. “Slick” already had legs. This remix might give it a whole new life.
