Ghanaian star Gyakie just gave fans exactly what they’ve been waiting for. Her brand-new single “Your Body (Crazy)” is out now, complete with the official music video.
Released on October 16, the track marks the start of a fresh chapter for the singer. It’s her first release under a new distribution partnership between her independent label FlipTheMusic and Warner Music Africa. Produced by Lektra (also credited as AfroLektra), the song is pure Afro-fusion heat—smooth, rhythmic, and built around Gyakie’s signature sultry vocals. She switches effortlessly between English and Twi while singing about that uncontrollable pull of attraction and physical chemistry.
Fans have already locked onto the addictive hook, especially the “you dey make me craze” part that’s stuck on repeat for a lot of people.
This single also serves as the official lead-up to her third EP, The Dawn, expected later this year. Gyakie has steadily grown from local favorite to one of the most consistent voices in the Afro-R&B and Afro-fusion space, and “Your Body” feels like the next confident step.
Stream “Your Body (Crazy)” everywhere and check the video on YouTube—Gyakie is clearly in her era.
