King Promise Drops New Single “Melody” With Smooth Video
Ghanaian Afrobeats star King Promise is back with a fresh single titled “Melody.” The track blends his signature smooth style with Highlife and R&B vibes, and it’s already getting strong reactions from fans.
Produced by Gideonite, the song is an ode to a woman’s beauty. The official video leans into a sensual, high-energy feel. Promotional photos show King Promise in bold red outfits surrounded by a group of women, matching the vibe of the visuals.
This is his first solo single of the year and has sparked early talk about a possible 2027 album. Fans have been calling it a “super banger” and adding it to their playlists since it dropped. King Promise took to social media to thank everyone for the warm reception and hinted that more music is on the way.
The release continues the run of Ghanaian artists holding their own on the continental scene. “Melody” feels like classic King Promise—catchy, melodic, and easy to replay. Whether it becomes one of the bigger records of the year remains to be seen, but the early feedback suggests it’s off to a solid start.
